Tiffany "Lily" Brooch

In 1881, Louis Comfort Tiffany was hired to decorate Mark Twain's Hartford home. The lilies in the stained glass sidelights of The Mark Twain House inspired the following items and demonstrate Tiffany's deft use of natural motifs.

Bar pin (½"x 2"), 24-karat gold plate on pewter with enamel detailing.
